The New Blues Show, will feature all the new members to Blue Morning Gallery for 2009. The show will run from January 3rd through February 13th. A reception will be conducted on Friday night, January 8th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Once school is out its time for a little fun slanted towards the creative side. This class will feature the application of color to create exciting pastel paintings, from landscapes to abstract work. Laura has considerable experience as an elementary art teacher, and knows how to guide children (6 – 12 yrs) to communicate what they see into works of art from their own perspective. She also knows how to make art a fun experience! Includes lunch! Class limited to 12. In this two session class, you will make a colorful dragonfly or butterfly stepping stone from tile to enhance your yard or outdoor surroundings. Mark has considerable experience in this unique art form, and will provide precisely cut tiles and will show you how to space them in the first session. In the second session, you will finalize your art piece, so that it will last for years in your garden or will serve as a treasured gift to a friend. All materials are provided as well as lunch for each session. Class limited to 8. Instructor: Mark Schmitt, Dates: July 10 and 17, Saturdays, Class fee: 52.50 includes lunch, Time: 11:00 am – 2:00 pm
