My favorite subject is the ocean which is forever changing.....beautiful, and calm, rocking as gently as a lullaby, then in an instant it can become angry and ominous, churning up waves and sand from the cold depths. It is forever changing, full of surprises and unpredictable.
My life and the world around me can be chaos, but when I see the magic of my surroundings I know that ultimately everything will be alright . How in the midst of so much beauty can we deny that, at least for that moment in time, everything is right with the world. My desire is to capture that tranquility and let the observer take part in my journey to achieve peace, at least for a moment.

My photography was born from a personal desire to find my place in the world. As I embarked on my journey to achieve inner tranquility I found that the natural beauty surrounding me gave me a deep sense of peace. It allowed my imagination to take flight and be free of everyday stressors. Through my photography I am able to capture a feeling of peace, which I can revisit again when I view the finished product.
