Fred is a native of Birmingham, Alabama. He and his wife, Peggy have lived in Pensacola/Gulf Breeze since 1973. Fred is a retired Mechanical Engineer.

He has never attempted any kind of artistic work until he discovered woodturning about five years ago. His work includes wooden vases, bowls, platters, lidded boxes and other creations. He has studied with several nationally known artists and is constantly working to improve his skills.

Two of his works were selected for the Pensacola Museum of Art Members Juried Exhibit in 2007. His work was also featured in a PMA Artist Outreach exhibit in October of 2007. Becoming associated with the fine artists at Blue Morning Gallery is an exciting new experience.
