A high school art teacher for 35 years, and the owner of the Frame
Game for 26 years, Zack Baisden is a well known figure in the Pensacola
art community. Following his recent retirement, Zack's newest paintings
reveal an explosion of creativity as he explores the realm of
abstraction, in an "attempt to pull logic from the illogical impulses of
the subconscious." He describes his style of painting as ranging from
traditional reality to contemporary abstraction.
Zack, a resident of Pensacola since 1968, has a Masters degree in art
education from the University of South Alabama. In addition to devoting
time to his creative pursuits, Zack sells art, commercially, and is a
dealer in picture frame moulding.
"My life is like a vintage wine ... it seems to get richer and more exciting as I mature."
