Thank you for your interest in Blue Morning Gallery!
BMG is expanding their membership categories to include Associate Memberships for artists who would like to be part of the
gallery, but dont have the time to work in a cooperative. Associate Memberships are open to all artists who wish to
be a part of Blue Morning Gallery and are subject to a jurying process. For more information, contact our Membership
Coordinator or ask for an Associate Membership Application available at the gallery.

ENTRY PROCEDURE:
Fill out an Associate Membership Application
Associate Members are selected by a jury of existing members
Submit to our jurying committee color slides/photographs of the work(s) you would like to display in the gallery. All work must be original. Identify each slide or photograph with your name, the title, medium, and retail price of the work
Submit a $25.00 non-refundable screening fee
A current resume, three references, and an artist's statement
A self-addressed, stamped envelope for jury notification and return of slides or photographs
The cost for exhibiting your work in the gallery as an Associate Member is as follows:
2-D - For each completed, framed work where the longest side is 24 inches or less, including the frame, the cost is $1 per inch of that longest side. Any piece larger than 24 inches on its longest side will be charged at the rate of 3.5 cents per square inch of the entire work, also including the area of the frame. Unframed, matted prints may also be displayed for sale in the appropriate racks/portfolios for a flat fee of $5 each, regardless of size. This allows a 2-D artist to exhibit their work in the gallery for one month. This fee will be charged each month the Associate Member chooses to exhibit their work.
3-D Associate Member will receive 10 sq. ft. of pedestal space at a cost of $60/month. Member may provide own fixture, which is subject to board approval. Display location within the gallery will be determined by Display. This allows a 3-D artist to exhibit their work in the gallery for one month. This fee will be charged each month the Associate Member chooses to exhibit their work.
There will be a 15% commission on all sales.
An Associate Member has no gallery responsibilities unless you choose to volunteer
An Associate Member has no voting or meeting responsibilities

The minimum age for membership in the gallery is 21 years of age.
